Final Fantasy15 Review
To the surprise of all fans of the franchise, the universe set in the Fibula Nova Crystallize saga overcomes the barrier established by the Final Fantasy XIII series with the new direction taken by versus. The game, presented in 2006 as one of the most ambitious JRPG of Square Enix, jump to the next generation consoles to take advantage of the new hardware perpetrated by the powerful PS4. And, most importantly, it does re-christen as Final Fantasy XV.
The story seems to have changed substantially: in a world permanently attached to the power of crystals, when they really start to dwindle alarmingly political chaos breaks out of boundless dimensions. In the blink of an eye, the states still receive the benefits of the crystals become the main target of its neighbors.
Under this backdrop we interpret the role of Noctis, Crown Prince of the Kingdom Lucis, at a time of total chaos: Niflheim has attacked the nation using all its strategic and military resources to the surprise of the leaders. Amid the chaos Noctis tries to escape with his teammates to establish a plan in order to restore peace to his people.
Electrifying action
What has drawn attention to the interactive demo of the title is his tremendous staging, focused more than ever on the ultravitaminada action and electrifying sequence of events. Although the creators say that Final Fantasy XV retained many of the virtues of the saga, the truth is that the game could be facing the closest to Hack'n'Slash concept that has given such good results in the video game franchise height Devil May Cry, Ninja Gained or Bayonets.
The interactive performance space presented in the demo takes us to a city in the process of destruction. And we, as the city falls to blow shattered buildings and neighborhoods flooded by spectacular effects of water, light and electricity, we move with astonishing verticality along, width and height of scenarios continuous process of metamorphosis.
Thus, the action becomes dizzy while asestamos brutal blows, we invoke spectacular spells or give orders to our colleagues to end the toughest enemies to crack without giving them even a single breath. One of the main skills Noctis (one that allows you to teleport immediately), allow us to add drama to the scene as we take the hindmost of our enemies, asestamos them the final blow and, before its allies can react, teleport us the facade of a building kilometer to leverage its vertical layout and cover large areas in a short time, both horizontally and vertically.
All it decorated brilliantly through intensive use engine Luminous (main technological bet of the Japanese company for next generation consoles), which results in a closer than we ever imagined to films like Advent Children visual finish. Character design (perpetrated by Tetsuya Nomura always gimmicky) shines, redundant, thanks to a lighting engine from another planet and care for detail never seen in the series.
Uncharted as scenic reference
European influence of the guys Naughty Dog in the provision of interactive scenes, where our character will be able to move around inside a building while it succumbs to a flooding process real-time note, while Notes is covered in corners, advancing steadily and manages to overcome the difficulties as tens of elements are shattered around him.
Moments over the Top popularized by sagas like God of War will be answered in Final Fantasy XV by impressive playable scenes, where our character revive spectacular moments comparable to the final battle of Final Fantasy: Advent Children.
Thanks to the playable demo that we have seen at E3 2012, we noticed an indisputable fact: the bombastic and baroque visual approach Final Fantasy XV will be complemented by a soundtrack of first level, where the most intense moments of the plot will be enhanced by important choral music cuts overdone orchestral presence and intervention. The resulting tissue where the action will demand greater role than usual, reserved a special place for controversy (as has happened in the last chapters of the saga). So it seems, Final Fantasy takes a new direction, reinvents the JRPG through a direct merger with beat'em'up and prepares for a new onslaught of public: time will tell if the game we will be remembered for its overall quality or reviled by conservative fans (which are legion).
